When Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, said, "I can only see something in my eyes," regarding Han Dong-hoon's book on the former People's Power, former representative Han said, "I will be a dog that protects the people. Have a good trial," he said in return.
Representative Lee criticized Han's book "The People First," which was officially released on the 26th, saying, "If I become president, I will use extreme measures such as martial law to prevent convictions."
Lee made the remarks to reporters after the Supreme Council meeting at the National Assembly.
"Lee is the most dangerous person in Korea," former representative Han said in the book. "If we take control of the administration, we can use extreme measures such as martial law or revision of punishment regulations to prevent judicial convictions."
In response to Representative Lee's remarks on his book, Representative Han immediately posted a message on his social network service, saying, "I'm willing to become a dog that protects the people," and responded, "[Representative Lee] deserves a trial."
Representative Lee is set to make a final trial on the case of violation of the Public Official Election Act.
