It has been reported that the police rescued a man in his 30s who fell into the water by tracking the location without handing over a 112 text message whose report details are unknown.
According to the Incheon Jungbu Police Station on the 27th, a text message "ㄴㄹ야" with unknown details of the report arrived at the 112 Security Situation Room of the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency at 6:58 a.m. on the 18th.
Judging that it could be an emergency, the police located the caller through the mobile phone station.
Three police officers, Lee Yong-seok, Sergeant Yang Seung-man, and Eom Tae-hoon, from the Yongyu Police Station, who received a dispatch order, searched near the Seonnyeo Rock dock in Eulwang-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon, and found A in his 30s who fell in the water.
A, who was showing hypothermia at the time, was taken to a nearby hospital by 119 paramedics for treatment.
A police official said, "We were able to save our precious lives by actively responding to text messages without just passing them over," adding, "I hope A will recover his health soon."
