Actor Kang Mal-geum (46) expressed her feelings with Jungwoo Ha in the 'Robby'.
The movie "Lobby," which will be released on April 2, tells the story of Chang-wook, the CEO of a start-up company who only knew about research, starting his first lobbying golf to win a national project worth 4 trillion won. Actor Jungwoo Ha directed and starred once again following "Roller Coaster" and "Heosamgwan." Kang Mal-geum played a corrupt minister who is the decision maker of national projects in the play.
Kang Mal-geum said in an interview held somewhere in Seoul on the 27th, "There is an article that Ramiran was cast. I learned how to respect him so much and acted excitedly with him during "Bad Mother." It was good that I was able to do what you almost did. I felt good when I was offered a casting offer for the first time. I read the script and there was no reason not to give me a role with color. The reading was already in progress and I was put in the middle, so shouldn't I do it. I didn't have many choices in politics or medicine, so I liked it even if the brain played a light role," he said.
He continued, "The script was long, rich, and there were many characters. It was barking, but the conclusion was warm. It conveys warmth with its unique rich taste of words. It's a comedy after all. It's a feast of humans that's lacking. I thought it was a very interesting script, and it was a welcome comedy," he said, explaining the reason for his appearance.
Kang Mal-geum, who said he practiced golf for Minister Cho's role, said, "The main thing I did was practicing golf. I practiced every day. I practiced about 37 times because there was a designated practice range. It was my first time playing golf and I tried to match the level of character setting. The one I drove was Ferrari, and it's the first time I've seen it in person. At that time, my driving skills were at the level of a beginner driving around the neighborhood in a light car, so it was a big event for me and I was nervous," he said.
Before going into filming, the actors gathered together to read the entire series for about 10 times.
Kang Mal-geum said, "Before the reading, it was beneficial to have a time to show the overall oriented acting model. I always thought it would be good to have a quick reaction point because I'm a slow-talking Salma, but the director showed "Short Box" and said it would be good to have a reaction speed like this. I've learned, too. Also, when many actors gathered, they gave me a big scare. The bubble in the envelope was different every time, including dollars and yen. I've collected such things. It was a pleasant little event.I couldn't travel abroad, but I thought I should use it when I travel later," he said with a smile.
Kang Mal-geum showed respect and affection for the director and actor Jungwoo Ha.
Kang Mal-geum said, "I really don't want to praise, but I've gotten better personally. What comes to mind when I meet a director is love and energy. We met in June of last year, and we read a lot and met each other deeply. There is usually a distance between editing in the middle, but I feel like it was connected then, he said. "Isn't this an artist?" I wonder how he directed three things," he said.
"The Jungwoo Ha and acting were just one day. As a director, I watched the monitor with affection, but he is also firm and a bigger person than me. He plays a lot of strong roles and is stronger than anyone else. There is something to do in the shade house, but this person is in a position to be included. I'm the best singer and Changwook is Eul. I wondered if I could handle a big actor in such a situation. But I took it in the beginning and thought there was no need to worry. As a coach, I put down my charisma and the moment I took the shot, I went in as Eul."
He said, "It's my first filming as a director and I'm the same actor, so I was wondering what I was watching on the monitor. How noticeable is it that you can't do well because you're good at it. However, I never gave the impression that I would be evaluated for a moment. The actor may wear a hat because he is not in good condition or less prepared, but he seems to have been warm when he sees it on the monitor and suggests it. Even when I looked at the monitor, he kept looking at me with affection and liking it. That's what gave me strength," he added.
Kang Mal-geum said, "What I felt as an actor is how acting is chosen for each scene. The weather, personal conditions, and circumstances are different. Before I became an actor, I didn't know that I was shooting without order like this. But I was amazed at how he chose every scene like that. The filming condition must have taken a lot of things in the Netflix series 'Surinam', but he always took the same weight. Even in 'Hijacking', I felt like I was poking the necessary action at the moment I needed it," he said.
