

Korea & Company, a holding company of Korea & Company Group, held a regular shareholders' meeting and board meeting at its headquarters in Pangyo, Gyeonggi-do, on the 26th and appointed President Park Jong-ho as the new CEO of Korea & Company.
CEO Park Jong-ho joined the company in 2011 as executive director of Hankook Tire's Ministry of Strategy and Finance. Since then, Hankook Tire has been in charge of strategic planning, management innovation, financial accounting, tax, and legal affairs. For six years from 2019 to 2024, he served as general manager of management support for Hankook Tire.
In particular, it also led the establishment and expansion of global infrastructure, including the construction of the Tennessee plant in the U.S. by Korea & Company. He has worked as the head of the management planning division of Hanon System, a leader in global thermal management systems, for three years from 2015, which is said to have a high understanding of the electronics and automobile industries as a whole.
As the CEO of the holding company, Park will take on the role of supporting future business portfolio composition and management innovation led by Cho Hyun-beom, chairman of Korea & Company Group. It will also play a role in expanding and imprinting the recognition and premium status of "Hankook," the group's integrated brand, to the global market, Korea & Company said.
An official from Korea & Company said, "We expect CEO Park Jong-ho to establish a strategy to accelerate technology innovation based on an accurate understanding of the mobility business and financial situation and drive the company's future growth."
