On the 27th, Kolmar Korea announced that it had won two Cosmo Pack Awards at the 56th CosmoProv Bologna 2025, which closed in Bologna, Italy on the 23rd (local time). Kolmar Korea won the grand prize in the Innovative Technology and Sustainability category.
Cosmoprov is the world's largest comprehensive beauty fair launched in 1967, selecting the most innovative products and technologies through an annual evaluation of a jury consisting of global cosmetics companies and beauty experts. This year, 836 beauty companies from around the world participated, and 11 of them won the award.
Korea Kolmar's 'Kaiom', which received the grand prize in the innovative technology category, diagnoses the skin microbiome based on artificial intelligence (AI) and provides customized skin care solutions according to the diagnosis results. If you rub a cotton swab on the skin and wet it with reagents and drop it on the kit, it is easy to use by analyzing beneficial and harmful bacteria on the skin.
It is also a technology introduced by Kolmar Korea at the CES held in Las Vegas in January.
In the sustainability category, eco-friendly raw material 'Echo-Pulse Centella', made from bottled grass extract, won the grand prize.
An official from Kolmar Korea said, "This award is an achievement of incorporating R&D capabilities accumulated over the past 35 years into the latest trends and convergence innovation technologies."
