Wonwoo Shin Woo-sung, former CEO of Kumho P&B Chemical, became an outside director of the company on the same day.
OCI President Kim Yoo-shin, who completed the fourth ESG leadership course, was promoted to vice chairman. OCI is a subsidiary of OCI Holdings' chemical materials business.
POSCO President Lee Hee-geun, the 5th Wonwoo, was appointed as the CEO at POSCO's shareholders' meeting on the 21st. Lee worked as POSCO's head of safety and environment in Pohang in 2023 and came to Seoul every Thursday to take classes.
Wonwoo, the seventh member of the Yoo Seung Min, was appointed as the 42nd chairman of the Korea Sports Council last month. While taking the 7th course in 2024, he gave a lecture on ESG management by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to his fellow Wonwoo. On May 22, the 9th course will give a lecture on ESG, a new growth engine for the sports industry.
