In Argentina, a podcast where senior citizens aged 90 or older gather to share various stories in their daily lives that they can sympathize with is drawing attention as it is gaining huge popularity.

CNN said on the 26th (local time), "Getting older can be lonely. An article titled "A 90-year-old group created a podcast" reported the story of Alberto Chav, an Argentine resident.

Last year, when he was 97, Chav posted a video online with the help of his granddaughter, asking elderly people in their 90s to talk about their lives.

The online response to this was hot. After posting the video, people from all over Latin America sent him over 1,500 emails. "I touched on the need for older people to get together and talk to each other," Mr Chav said.

A chain reaction followed. With the help of a 26-year-old young woman, a podcast called "90 and More" was born. The first post was posted on the podcast in August last year. The group, which includes five women and five men over the age of 90, including Mr. Chav, talks about a variety of topics, including tango performance, healthy habits, affection, and people's relationships.

They meet every two weeks to discuss the topics that will be covered in the podcast. "I ask my colleagues in the conference room to tell me everything that comes to mind," Mr. Chav said. "Even a car accident or going to an ophthalmologist would never be a ridiculous topic because a similar situation could happen to someone from us."

The podcast, which finished its first season last year, is currently being produced by Season 2.

Chav said the podcast had a positive impact on the lives of those involved. This is because the elderly over 90 years old involved in podcasts can share more with their loved ones and people. "Before podcasts, older people over 90 often felt alienated from society and even from their families because of their age," he said. "But now they have something to say to their grandchildren, family, neighbors, or friends, and they have questions to ask."
