Information technology (IT) companies Naver and Kakao will donate 1 billion won each to support recovery from large forest fires in Gyeongsang Province and Ulsan. As of the morning of the 27th, a total of more than 10 billion won was raised in emergency fundraising through each company's donation platform.

Naver donated 1 billion won through its online donation platform Happy Bean and delivered it to the National Disaster Relief Association earlier in the day. The aid donations delivered will be used to restore forest fire-affected areas and support victims.

Kakao also contributes a total of 1 billion won to support victims affected by large wildfires.

Since the 23rd, Kakao has been conducting an emergency fundraising campaign to support recovery from large forest fires through the social contribution platform 'Kakao Like Value'. As of the morning of the 27th, more than 1.2 million users participated in the campaign, and more than 5.2 billion won of donations were collected.
