It has been shown that women's college graduation rates have surpassed men since they were born in the 1980s. The employment period of young people is getting slower and slower, and two out of ten young people do not get a job and do not receive education.

According to the Statistics Korea's "Comparative Study by Cohort on Life Course Implementation: Education and Employment" report on the 27th, there has been a reversal between men and women in the proportion of graduates from college or higher since they were born in the 1980s.

Based on the age of 31 to 35 for each generation, men in the 1970s had a higher percentage of college graduates or higher than women. However, in the group born between 1980 and 1984, women accounted for 72.1 percent, outpacing men (69.4 percent). Between 1985 and 1989, 72.2% of men and 77.3% of women were born, while the difference between women (78.5%) and men (65.3%) increased to 13.2 percentage points in the 1990-1994 group.

The employment period for young people is getting slower and slower. When the first employment age was estimated based on the age of 25-29, those born in 1975-1979 were 22.12 years old, but since 1985 they have risen to 23.4 years old.
