The National Federation of Democratic Trade Unions has launched a general strike, urging the Constitutional Court to designate the date of the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol. The number of "pro-impeachment" rallies, which usually take place on weekends, occupied downtown Seoul from daytime on weekdays, causing severe traffic congestion.

On the 27th, the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions said at Seoul Station, Myeongdong Station, and the Seoul Employment and Labor Office, "Yoon Suk Yeol will be fired immediately! Resolve the insurrection forces! Great social reform! The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) held a general strike and a general strike contest. Yoon Seok-yeol's immediate retreat and social reform emergency action (emergency action) also joined the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions by conducting a general citizen strike at Seoul Station, Sinchon Station, and Hyehwa Station.

On this day, those who marched at Seoul Station held up pickets that read, "Let's dismiss Yoon Suk Yeol, let's liquidate the insurrection forces," and said, "I can't stand it anymore. Chants such as dismissal of Yoon Suk Yeol and "Let's win great social reform through an all-out struggle for a general strike." In Gwanghwamun, where their march was completed, a plenary session was held where the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and emergency actions gathered.

The march also caused traffic congestion as two lanes in front of Exit 1 of Myeong-dong Station, three lanes in front of the Employment and Labor Office, and two lanes in front of Exit 11 of Seoul Station were closed.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employers Federation (KEF) said that political strikes that are not related to determining working conditions are illegal activities that cannot be protected under the labor union law. In response, the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions said, "Political demands are not irrelevant to labor rights and survival rights, and it is a constitutional right for workers to fight over political demands," adding, "We will go on a general strike every Thursday until the date of impeachment is announced."

In response, groups opposing impeachment will also gather near the Constitutional Court and continue their rallies until the sentencing day.
