Beyond distrust of the law, it was said to be the "reality of Korea." Newzins' remarks, which have suspended their activities, seem to draw negative reactions from the public except for fans.
The members of Newzins, who are in exclusive contract disputes with their agency, Adore, are currently drawing their own activities. However, their activities were suspended after the court cited the application for a provisional injunction against "prohibition of activities such as preservation of agency status and conclusion of advertising contracts."
From here, the members' remarks began. "Everyone (members) (who watched the news) was shocked," they said. "Maybe this is the reality of Korea. He complained about the court's judgment, saying, "I think Korea is trying to make us a revolutionary." Beyond the simple problem of the K-pop market structure, some criticized that it was a "hate Korea."
In particular, the interviews of these members were not made by domestic media, but by foreign media such as BBC Korea and TIME. This point was also somewhat disappointing or disappointing to the public.
Ko Sang-rok, a lawyer from Kim & Chang, a law firm known as a New Jeans fan, also criticized, "Now, if we have ignored the courts that deny the industry and end up throwing the whole of Korea into a pathetic society and spewing hateful remarks, where will they stand next?" and added, "It's time to wake up from the dream."
Newzins, who debuted in July 2022, succeeded in gaining popularity with unique music based on easy listening such as "Half Boy," "Attention," "Ditto," "Cookie," "Super Shy" and "ETA" upon their debut. It was definitely their popularity since their debut.
There was no doubt that the popularity of Newzins was so popular that each member knew the music even though he did not know it. Their songs were inserted not only in music sources but also in TV commercials, and they were very popular by appearing in person. After July 2023, the first anniversary of his debut, that year's award ceremony swept the grand prize to the extent that it was called the year of the New Jeans.
Newzins, who actively communicated with the public with such high-quality songs, openly expressed disappointment with the court's ruling and seemed to be making a gesture to move away from the public except for fans.
Currently, the members of the Newzins have suspended their activities, saying they respect the court's ruling. At the same time, an objection was filed, and an interrogation will take place on April 9.
