Bae Sung-jae, an announcer-turned-TV broadcaster, will reveal his love story with bride-to-be Kim Dayoung.

On SBS' "My Ugly Baby," which will air on the 30th, Bae Sung-jae, who announced his marriage in May this year, will appear as a special MC to reveal his secret love story.

Mothers and MCs celebrated with applause when Bae Sung-jae, who revealed the news of his surprise marriage to SBS announcer Kim Da-young, appeared in the studio in the recent recording of "My Ugly Baby."

Bae Sung-jae, who has been in a secret relationship for two years with Kim Da-young, who appeared with SBS's Wednesday entertainment show "The Women Who Goat," revealed the whole process from the first meeting to the proposal.

The mothers embarrassed Bae Sung-jae by saying, "I had a different heart" and "I had a black heart," to him, who often bought Kim Da-young a meal "as a senior" even before becoming a lover.

Bae Sung-jae, who received attention by announcing that he would only register his marriage without having a wedding, also confessed honestly about the special reason for not having a wedding and the reaction of bride-to-be Kim Da-young.

Earlier, Bae Sung-jae's agency, SM C&C, said on the 7th of last month, "Bae Sung-jae will have a couple's relationship with SBS announcer Kim Da-young in May. They recently promised to be each other's partners after two years of dating."

"The two want to leave out all forms and start quietly, so we want to replace the ceremony by having a family meal," he said. "We ask for your understanding that we cannot tell you in detail about other matters related to marriage as it is their personal lives."

Bae Sung-jae, who joined KBS as an announcer for the 31st open recruitment area in 2005, moved to SBS's 14th open recruitment announcer in 2006.

After leaving the company in 2021, he turned freelance and appeared in various entertainment shows such as "Golgeori Girl," "Gukdae is Gukdae," and "Hello Trot."

Kim Da-young, who joined SBS as an SBS experienced announcer in 2021 after working at Mokpo MBC and Busan MBC, was a regular guest of SBS Radio Power FM "Kim Young-chul's Power FM" and a weekday anchor of SBS 8 News sports news. He played as a member of FC Anaconda in "The Girl in the Bone."
