Chef Ahn Sung-jae's restaurant "Mosu Seoul," which rose to stardom by appearing as a judge on Netflix's cooking survival entertainment show "Black and White Cook," recently filed a complaint with the police, claiming that it had been damaged by a person impersonating a KT employee.
According to the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on the 27th, Paramount Seoul filed a complaint with the police on the 21st, asking them to find and punish the impersonator of KT employees.
In a notice on the reservation application on the 25th, Parasum Seoul said, "We recently confirmed that a criminal act of demanding the cost of a meal occurred after impersonating KT and switching calls to Parasum's phone number," adding, "We have filed a complaint with the police."
Parasum Seoul emphasized that it only accepts reservation fees through the app and never requires account transfers. If you were asked for a reservation fee in a way other than this app, it was said to be an act that was not related to Parasum Seoul.
It is known that at least six customers are currently paying for their meals while trying to make a reservation over the phone in Paramount Seoul. Upon receiving the complaint, Yongsan Police Station began to accurately identify the damage.
Paramount Seoul opened in Seoul in 2017 and received one Michelin star in 2019 and two Michelin stars in 2020. In 2023, it will become the only three-star Michelin restaurant in Korea. It was temporarily closed after ending its partnership with CJ CheilJedang.
Currently, it only operates dinner courses, and the price per person is 420,000 won. You have to pay for the room and the corkage separately. It reopened on the 22nd and was fully booked until the end of June.
